King County's Combined Sewer Overflow Construction Program
Reducing Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) is a priority for King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division. WTD is responsible for planning, designing and constructing a variety of facilities to reduce CSOs and planning for long-range CSO reduction.
Please join us to learn about King County’s current CSO projects and their CSO planning process. Mr. Rick Renaud, Construction Manager for the WTD will talk about the upcoming CSO projects as well as other wastewater construction projects the County has planned for 2011 through 2013.
Mr. Renaud has over 25 years experience in project management, engineering design and construction management. Currently, he manages the Construction Management Unit for the Wastewater Treatment Division of King County. For ten years, he managed the Engineering Services and the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) at King County International Airport (Boeing Field). Prior to working at Boeing Field, Mr. Renaud worked as a design engineer for King County with engineering consultants. He has a MS in Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington and also a member of the Washington Chapter of Construction Management Association of America.
